Our Story

It all started when...

John Ciampa founded Beantown Pest Control in July 2002. Starting a business from scratch required tremendous dedication and hard work, but John was determined to make his vision a reality. Today, Beantown Pest Control is a well-respected name in the industry, known for its top-quality services and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are proud of how far we have come, and we remain committed to providing the best possible service to every one of our clients.

In July 2002, John sat down and formulated a detailed business plan, from the name and colors to the services his company would offer.  He was working with a minimal budget, so rather than a shiny new work truck, he slapped some magnetic signs on the side of an old sedan and started spreading the word.  One of his greatest dreams was to own his own business, so with this opportunity, John knew it was game time.


As much as he loved working with computers, he missed working in the pest control field, from interacting with customers to the career itself.  One day he was affected by a company layoff, so he had the decision to make, find another IT job or take the risk of opening his own pest control business.  The decision was made, and the excitement and fear started stirring, but the momentum initiated.

The Vision

The initial years were challenging, but through vision, perseverance, and hard work, the growth became visible; BPC was on its way to becoming a household name. John saw his plan finally working; the phone was ringing, the customer base was building, and bills were getting paid. John realized that knowledge, professionalism & excellent customer service would make his company strive and stick out, and today, that is what Beantown is doing.

Where we are today...

BPC recently hit its 20-year mark and growing steadily; we service many residential and commercial properties from restaurants, plazas, hotels, construction sites, etc.
